Technical Director of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation Lincoln Phillips has stated that the preparation of local coaches and the selections for national and international duty is not a guessing game.
Phillips was drawing the conclusion as he summed up the recently conducted “C” license coaching course conducted in collaboration with the Dutch KNVB.

Trinidad and Tobago ’s National Under 17 squad for the upcoming FIFA Under 17 World Championship in Korea next month was announced by head coach Anton Corneal on Sunday, a week before the contingent departs for Holland for a training camp ahead of its opening match against Ghana .
Corneal and his staff met with the players on the weekend and revealed the squad with 21 players being selected, four being named as reserves and five players missing out after weeks of preparation following T&T’s qualification for the Championship after a 1-0 win over Jamaica in Kingston in early May.

Trinidad and Tobago ’s first round opponents for the FIFA Under 17 World Championship have all named their final squads for the tournament which kicks off in Korea on August 18.
T&T’s first match opponents Ghana will be attempting a third shot at the title and head coach Seles Tetteh named one overseas-based player in his 21-man squad. Reading FC’s academy scholar Kelvin Bossman will carry his team’s hopes after being included by Tetteh who has been at the helm of the team for just under a month.
