PELLERUD OUTLINES PLANS FOR WOMEN'S GAME

Trinidad and Tobago Women's football technical director Even Pellerud is currently seeing an elite player training programme involving national players at all age groups in training four days per week at the University of the West Indies Grounds, St Augustine.

Pellerud in an interview today spoke about some of the plans for local women's football for 2011 and the preparations for upcoming Olympic Games qualifiers among other international competitions.

T&T U-17S DEFEAT GUATEMALA 1-0

A 91st minute winner by Adan Noel pushed Trinidad and Tobago to a victory away from qualifying for the 2011 FIFA Under 17 World Cup as they got the better of Guatemala 1-0 in their closing Group C encounter at Jarrett Park on Thursday.

The win means T&T are through to the quarter finals and will meet either Canada or Honduras next Wednesday depending on how the closing set of matches in Group C and D finish on Saturday.
