STRUCTURE OF THE TOURNAMENT


The competition will be run as an Eleven-a-Side Tournament open to All Teams competing in the National Super League.

TEAM COMPLIMENT

Each team will be allowed a minimum of eighteen (18) and a maximum of thirty (30) registered players (inclusive of substitutes).

N.B.    Players will not be allowed to play for more than one CLUB. A player may play for his Age     Group as well as a higher Age Group team, but not more than one team on the same Match Day.
Mixed teams are not allowed.
No Transfers (From any other League or Club) allowed after the start of the competition.
No player may simultaneously represent a team in the NYL and a team in another TTFF league.

DETAILS OF THE TOURNAMENT

REGISTRATION

In order to compete in the Tournament a maximum of thirty (30) players may be registered by each Age Group Team. (NYL, Zonal 2011 registration / ID cards will be allowed)

PROTESTS

Protests against the eligibility of a player shall be lodged with the Referee / All Sport Promotions Limited (ASP) Match Commissioner before a match. The Match Commissioner shall examine the documents and decide the protest. His / Her decision shall be final and not subject to appeal. His / Her decision shall be final and not subject to appeal.

DURATION OF MATCHES

Each match shall consist of two periods of thirty-five (35) minutes each for the Under Fourteen Age Group (U~14), two forty (40) minutes each for the Under Sixteen Age Group (U~16) and forty-five (45) minutes for the Under Eighteen Age Group (U~18).

UNIFORMS

Teams must wear numbered uniforms in order to take part in the Tournament.



MATTERS NOT PROVIDED FOR AND/OR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to act in the event of matters not provided for and/or emergency situations.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
BALL

Three (3) of the IDENTICAL (Same Brand & Model) size five (5) match footballs bearing one of the following three quality standard designations: FIFA APPROVED, FIFA INSPECTED or INTERNATIONAL MATCH BALL STANDARD shall be provided to the referee by the Home Team for each game.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS

Every team must start with a minimum of seven (7) players, one (1) of whom shall be the goalkeeper. If at anytime either team has less than seven (7) players on the field, the match will be abandoned.

SUBSTITUTIONS

A team is allowed to use five (5) in the Under Fourteen Age Group (U~14) and three (3) in the Under Sixteen and Under Eighteen Age Groups (U~16 & U~18) of it’s named substitutes inclusive of the Goal Keeper. A maximum of seven (7) named substitutes will be allowed on a Team’s List per game.
Substitution of goalkeeper may occur only when ball is out of play.
A goalkeeper changing places with an outside player must get the permission of the referee and do so during a stoppage.
All substitutions must be done at the Half Line.

PLAYER EQUIPMENT

Footwear is compulsory ie: approved football shoes.
Numbered shirts tucked inside the shorts
A player shall not wear anything that is dangerous to the other players.
Shin Pads are compulsory covered by socks which must reach the knee

RANKING SHALL BE DETERMINED AS FOLLOWS:

Greater number of points obtained in all the matches; if two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above criterion, their ranking shall be determined as follows:

Greater number of points obtained in the matches between the teams concerned;

Goal difference resulting from the matches between the teams concerned;    

Greater number of goals scored in the matches between the teams concerned

Goal difference in all the matches

Greater number of goals scored in all the matches


(In all other circumstances normal FIFA rules and regulations apply)
