The National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB) is now one of the chief sponsors of National Youth football after agreeing to contribute $350,000 towards the staging of the 2012 National Youth Football League hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation.
This was announced at a media launch at the NLCB Corporate Box, Queen's Park Oval on Thursday morning.
Thirty-six teams from 16 clubs in both Trinidad and Tobago will compete in three divisions for the 2012 edition of the tournament which gets going on Saturday and runs until July 28th. More than double the number of clubs which participated in the 2011 edition, will challenge in this year’s competition. The NLCB National Youth League, will be overseen by the federation’s contracted marketing company, All Sports Promotions.
